Training with Sam was so unique. My aim was to just improve my Olympic Lifting but after the sessions, I had left with so much more that just improvements to my clean, snatch and dead-lifts. a whole lot of new stretching, rolling and HIIT routine I could integrate into my workouts. Alongside that Sam acknowledged issues other trainers hadn’t, like my foot being slightly flat footed. Sam recommended a new foot support which made a world of a difference t my stability in lifts. Overall the price and quality of PT training was worth it as my muscle memory even after not training for a while due to university exams was still very good!
I really appreciate how Sam listened to what I wanted to to achieve and designed a varied and challenging workout regime for me to follow during my training sessions. She worked me hard and it would have been easy to give in but her motivation and enthusiasm was a real driving force to help me persevere and challenge my ability. She is such a knowledgeable and personable personal trainer that I trust and value her guidance to dive me forward and I continue to follow her advice in my own workouts Sam is energetic, fun and inspirational…and I can’t recommend her enough!
I started training with Sam in November 2018. Sam has taught me to love the gym, she listened to everything I wanted to achieve. She has shown me that you don’t need to stand in a mirror and lift weights or spend 30mins on the treadmill. We mix up every one of our sessions, so I am never bored! We do HIIT to weights to boxing! So much variation so when I am in the gym myself I have so many exercises to choose from. Sam has pushed me so hard and I am really seeing the results from it not only physically but mentally. Sam is not only my PT but she is a friend now and she sets my day off to the best start. I could not recommend her enough. She goes above and beyond to make sure that I’m happy and that I’m enjoying myself. She’s the best!
I started training with Sam 6 Months ago with the aim of putting on some muscle mass and definition. What I’ve achieved is so much more than I expected. My overall strength and fitness have improved a lot in such a short period of time. I came to Sam with pretty vague fitness goals of ‘be fit enough and strong enough to parent a toddler’ and ‘be less intimidated by the gym’. She rose to the challenge! She designed a great programme for me, which delivered what I wanted and was flexible enough to fit around my other commitments. She was supportive, encouraging me to push my limits without pushing me too hard, I can highly recommend Sam for a personal trainer.

When I was at University I used to have not a great relationship with food, and I was doing a lot of cardio to burn calorie after I binged. I moved to Cardiff nearly 4 years ago and a new lifestyle, new kind of food completely changed my body. I joined the gym few months later and what I was doing was just cardio, treadmill and other machines without any kind of program. One day I decided to get in contact with Sam to start to train with a proper program, start to lift some weight. It has been the best decision I made. I started to train with Sam and she made a programm for me, but at the the time she noticed which kind of training I was enjoying more and based the new programm on what I like more, because she knows that you have to enjoy your training and your session, you don't have to be forced. At the same time she push yourself to the limit and at that point you will realize that you and your body are able to do things that you thought you couldn't do. Because it's all on your mind. Training with Sam changed completely my way to consider fitness. It's not anymore about my phisique, it's about me feeling better with myself. She also helped me to improve my nutrition. Food for me is not anymore something you have to demonize but is fuel for my body, what I need to do great things with my body. Sam is not only a PT, is also a friend. She cares about you and she's been really helpful during this pandemic, despite the fact that we cant train in person, she makes sure that all her clients are ok both mentally and physically.
